Height: 21"

Referred to as Wilu (Walu) mask. Reverenced by the Dogon people as primordial ancestor and therefore, first god.

The mask has a crustaceous feel and a zoomorphic superstructure. It is devoid of any pigmentation, and is thought by preference of the elders who would use such a mask for the most sacred of decision making occasions.
